RD SPROCKET

All RongDa conveyor chains run on 1/2" pitch RongDa sprockets. Our sprockets are usually made from C-1141 steel and are heat treated to provide a hardened tooth surface. The sprocket can be fully processed with completed drilling and fixing screws or unfinished holes can be requested to allow further processing. Specialized processing fits the customer's precise specifications. Materials, other than steel, may be provided upon request.

Function guidelines

In general, a larger sprocket diameter will provide smoother chain operation and less vibration, so it is best to avoid requiring smooth transport in very small sprocket applications.

In most cases, the supra-lifetime, standard and profile chains should have at least 21 teeth. The sprocket of the extended pitch chain shall have at least 26 teeth.

Specify the sprocket

It is important to choose a chain wheel that is compatible with your chain. You should always consider the following points:

Guide type

Hub Diameter

Face Width

Number of Teeth

Keyway Size

Bore Diameter

Hub Projection

Hub Type

GUIDE TYPE

The sprocket can be divided into two broadcasting modes: the central guide and the side / multi-guide.

CENTER GUIDE

The groove processed at the center of the sprocket surface accepts the center-oriented connection of the chain.

SIDE / MULTI GUIDE

The sprockets are mounted between the side guide plates of the chain.

CENTER GUIDE DATA

F = same as Nominal Chain Width

GW = Guide Width

= 3mm for F < 200mm, uses a single guide link

= 5mm for F ≥ 200mm, uses a double guide link

SIDE/MULTIGUIDE DATA

W = WBG - 1.5mm (unless otherwise specified)

WBG = Width Between Guides

SPROCKET HUB TYPE & HUB DIMENSION DATA

F = Nominal Chain Width

B = Bore

OD = Outside Diameter

HD = Hub Diameter

LTB = Length Through the Bore

HP = Hub Projection
